The Royal Statistical Society (RSS) is one of the world’s leading organisations to promote statistics, data and evidence for the public good. We are a professional body and, with a community of more than 9,000 members, we’re also a hub of expertise offering numerous opportunities for our members to develop their careers, keep up to date with the latest developments in the world of statistics, and network with their peers, including through our Young Statisticians’ Section (YSS). The YSS is a dedicated forum for statisticians in the first 10 years of their career and organizes a range of different activities throughout the year. 

Instats is a global platform offering live-streamed and on-demand research training across statistics and social, health, and life sciences. With over 50,000 users, we provide affordable, high-quality content for PhD and post-PhD research training. Researchers can partner with Instats directly to offer free or fee-based content, retaining full intellectual property rights and sharing revenue equitably, while making any content free for their students and colleagues. This allows using Instats as a free research training platform internally, while generating revenue when content sells outside of their organization.
